The problem is that all the democrats seem thrilled about the bill. Mike Johnson caved in to Schumer, plain and simple.
No matter who they put in there, they can’t pass anything into law without negotiating with democrats, without support from democrats, so this is absurd. It’s also absurd that they never make these demands when a republican is president.
