10. 10:52 any defensive measures are simply deterrents. Almost every action will have a reaction to overcome it. That does not mean you leave the door open. Each measure requires more work by the folks trying to get in. They must be layered : physical barrier, electronic monitoring, and personnel to respond and patrol.
    Personally I think we should be doing more at Mexico’s southern border. Helping them to stop the flow at that much more narrow border. Cutting off the thousands of migrants there would make our own border easier to control.

40. The fact is the GOP doesnt want to solve the immigration crisis because it would be to their detriment. A big tactic they use is fear mongering and if the issue is resolved then they basicically have no platform. If they really did care about immigrants stealing jobs from the working class they'd push the issue on businesses hiring illegal labor but they would never anger their upper class overlords.
