One of my favorite movie characters is Admiral Jim Greer played by James Earl Jones in Clear and Present Danger. Watching this story play out over recent years, I can't help but remember a quote of Admirsl Greer's which seems appropriate for our times.

You gave your word to his boss: you gave your word to the people of the United States. Your word is who you are."
I hope our leaders, former and current, can find it within themselves to show the honestly, integrity and selflessness the American people crave and so richly deserve.
