President Biden and Vice President Harris will both appear at a community center in Raleigh, N.C., on Tuesday afternoon. Biden reportedly plans to highlight actions the administration has taken on economic issues and reproductive health that affect southern states.
Biden will likely also speak about infrastructure, a central theme for his campaign unexpectedly brought into national focus by Tuesday’s collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Key Bridge after it was struck by a cargo ship.
North Carolina is likely to be one of the most competitive states for the November election.
