Watch live: Biden speaks at union conference

President Biden is addressing members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) at a conference in Washington, D.C., on Friday.

Biden has made highly visible support for unions central to his economic policies and his reelection campaign.

The president will meet with the IBEW, one of the largest constituents of the AFL-CIO, just one day after he promised members of the United Steelworkers union that Pittsburgh-based U.S. Steel would remain American-owned.

Biden is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. ET.
