It’s not that easy
I originally have that phone in my mom's house
I feel like it's intentionally not so easy anymore as it was back then
Nokia Is The Best phone i ever seen and Apple iphone is the worst And cheap phone i ever seen
I remember when you could just take the plastic back off and slide the battery out that way
this is Nokia, why you took this much time to rule the smartphone world, you are different and simple Nokia, we love you
Would love to see this on at least mid range phone like Nokia X30, pretty sure most people would just buy a new phone if their budget phone's battery like this G22 going bad in 2-3 year.
What!? A company supporting right to repair? Yes, if it had a normal removable battery, it would have been fine. But to keep the basic waterproof rating, this tight fit is understandable.
It's amazing what Nokia turning into 😊
It's really built to last! We change phones normally due to a battery issue so now we can use the phones for longer! Amazing
People like repairable phones like apple so this will fail no matter what
the feature that needs to come in all phones
That's a good feature
But if nokia just want to put maximum 4gb of ram
At least put android go in it
4gb ram + only 1.6 clockspeed on android 12/13/14
That's absolutely will be super laggy
All my heart went for the display being dragged on the pure rough floor ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ (hope it is floor, prolly concrete lol)
Not friendly without tools 💀
You should be able to do what nobody das that why what you wanna hear you your a hero you found out to open a handy wtf you git no idea how to repair a handy you just show how to open up and how you pull the battery pit you hero😂😂
Inwould take removable back cover over waterproof any day.
Seriously! who even uses their phone underwater.
If Nokia will design and manufacture flagship with this repairability feature, I'm all in, 100% buying
Not as repair friendly than the fairphone unfortunately. I still think plenty of people would be discouraged from attempting a repair on this device, but solid price.
Now this feels like nokia
Isn't this the same process with any midrange phone with a plastic back?
That's a good step towards sustainability.
That's like every budget Samsung phone for years😂
Samsung Galaxy Rush SPH-M830 be like: 🤨
Interesting
Back then, the only tools I needed were my fingernails
God job Nokia
Nah I want the battery to be replaceable in 5 seconds not 5 minutes, like it was years ago.
NoKEEa
Plus you get a guitar pick! Play guitar even when repairing. How cool is that
as someone who fixes phones, the only thing i see here that most androids don't do is the lack of glue. That's it. It's really not that different or more fixable than a regular android phone.
They can just make a phone with replaceable battery instead.

I miss my old Samsung S4Zoom. It was a chunky hybrid of a S4 mini & a 16mp digital camera. It was an amazing camera but it used the power fast but you could slide the battery out of the end and insert a fully charged battery. It also had a portable external charging case for the battery so I could have up to 4 spare batteries fully charged if I were to be taking lots of photos. The batteries were unfortunately a weak 2330mah each but I found some online that were 3200mah which lasted a few hours longer. That phone lasted me over 4 years of use until it finally stopped working. I'll look forward to getting the G22 too.
Cool
LOL
Still much more difficult than Fairphone.
Nokia come back !!
This is a very good phone for it's price range.
