28. My dad always traded up some kind of bronco when I was a kid. I was always partial to the little early ones and he had some nice ones. Give peanuts for them back then and I wish he had kept a few. We had a nice 79 like this we took on a road trip and transmission went out on the interstate so backed about 4 miles down the shoulder and my mom was whooping and hollering. That was damn near 40 yrs ago and I still remember it and probably always will. It’s things like that which make project or play vehicles worth every dime. The time spent with people you love and the memories. Can’t go wrong even if you over pay today. The market and memories will catch up.

36. Man it was just like that just a different color and had a little bit bigger tires on it. Wider not taller that is a clean old bronco. Were gonna be at noble dragway/ thunder valley in a couple weeks with the hotrod2013 challenger for the class races

37. My uncle had a 79.too and it came with a 400 m in it. Well he killed that motor amd put a built 60 over 460 with forged internals in it and it would jump up hills and go thru mud with ease. . It was a monster and it was two tone silver and black

39. I actually have a 79 Bronco dad got it new the day I way born has a built 351m with a lift and 22x10s been completely redone only has 81k on the odometer plans are to give it to my boys when my time runs out in hopes they keep Gramps trucks living on as I have
