  1. Not sure what exactly the alcohol did peeling the product off your rim is how it was meant to be used. spray a lil kerosene and watch it melt off without peeling.

  2. Thank you so much for the vid i bought some after market wheels that were plasti dipped and it looked terrible so I was trying to remove by peeling with a credit card but this helped so much thank you!!

  3. what if your wheels are freshly balanced and mounted on your car…. Will rubbing alcohol ruin anything on the rotors or pads if you peel off the big spots and than g to a car wash to remove the remains hard to get too spots?

  4. The best way to dissolve the dip off imo at my detail shop is with adhesive remover it basically liquifies it and it just wipes off

  5. but I'm in california and we are in a drought, cant use water as freely like you did.
somebody could report you, be careful.

  6. Plastic razor blades would help scraping that remainder portion too. thanks for vid. Need to remove P-Dip from wheels to sell my car

  7. What if what if it's hard and caked up? Purple Power and Scotch-Brite pad? I have some on around my tail lights that's going to get painted anyway

  8. My man you are a lifesaver! I plasti dipped my wheels and the coating was too thin so it was a pain to takeoff! I was on my way to a detailing shop and they ask for $150 to take them off and then I found out about your video. I sprayed rubbing alcohol on my wheels the night before and I woke up the next day took them all off in one hour! THANSK DUDE!

  9. If it's too thin to get to peel, why not clean the thin layer spotless so you can apply more coats to stick properly? Then try a heat gun or propane torch (keep it moving), to get it to start peeling.

I'm trying to figure out how to get HF bedliner off of a Lexus wheel w/o trashing the finish. Any ideas? Next is getting it off the garage floor and wall. Yep, the wife ran over a brand new gallon of the goo and popped it. I'm still trying to figure out how she got the can and didn't drive through the wall. Hellfire!

  10. you know the pressure washer on the highest setting will hurt the paint on the wheel that’s why there’s a car setting on some pressure washers because it won’t harm the paint

  11. wow, worked very fast, had only about 1/2 ounce of alcohol. going to buy a quart now. thx. original wheels are beautiful.

  12. Well duh if you put it on thick enough it peels off in under 60 seconds. I do it all the time with my bare hands and no alcohol or water. Not so easy with thin layers. Thin layers BLOW
