  1. 4 years later, we find out Jerome fabricated at least 2 affidavits, 1 of them which was used to convince prosecutors of his innocence.

  2. There needs to be fixed compensation in such cases. I recommend $1M per year, and if there is evidence of prosecutor misconduct strip their pensions from them.

  3. As long as the lynch mob mentality is alive in America these things will happen. What is the first things Americans say when someone is arrested an charged? "He did it". If the jury acquits, then they get angry. American people would rather the innocent be sent to prison and then released after years of proving innocence rather than accept a jury verdict of not guilty. On top of that, over 65% of ALL sitting judges are former prosecutors. I am not aware of a single case where a Black man who was innocent and was framed or set up by the police got and got revenge against the police. Not one! As long as there is no repercussions for the people who willfully and intentionally incarcerate innocent people, and as long as the lynch mob mentality is alive, the greater surprise is that people are even declared innocent at all.

  4. But wait, I've been told by several politicians and pundits that we have the greatest justice system in the world. I know they're right, because we are 4.28% of the world's population and hold 22% of its prisoners. Out of 7 billion people we're the best!

Best country in the world. In everything! Yup. Thaaaaats the ticket!

  5. The people who are responsible for destroying this mans life should be held accountable. Starting with the cops who arrested him, the prosecuting attorney, the judge and every one who denied his appeal. FIRED!

  6. Isn't it fascinating to be a free man after having 29 years of your life destroyed! This is a mayor insult to intelligence! He should sue them for restitution!
