4 years later, we find out Jerome fabricated at least 2 affidavits, 1 of them which was used to convince prosecutors of his innocence.
They should sentence the judge and the prosecutor to thirty years!!!
ooops, our bad…you be alright after awhile
Thanks RealNews!
There needs to be fixed compensation in such cases. I recommend $1M per year, and if there is evidence of prosecutor misconduct strip their pensions from them.
As long as the lynch mob mentality is alive in America these things will happen. What is the first things Americans say when someone is arrested an charged? "He did it". If the jury acquits, then they get angry. American people would rather the innocent be sent to prison and then released after years of proving innocence rather than accept a jury verdict of not guilty. On top of that, over 65% of ALL sitting judges are former prosecutors. I am not aware of a single case where a Black man who was innocent and was framed or set up by the police got and got revenge against the police. Not one! As long as there is no repercussions for the people who willfully and intentionally incarcerate innocent people, and as long as the lynch mob mentality is alive, the greater surprise is that people are even declared innocent at all.
i'd really like to work for you guys if that is possible let me know how and what to do ?
It's terrible for every innocent person who ends up in prison, especially given how dangerous the majority are.
But wait, I've been told by several politicians and pundits that we have the greatest justice system in the world. I know they're right, because we are 4.28% of the world's population and hold 22% of its prisoners. Out of 7 billion people we're the best!
Best country in the world. In everything! Yup. Thaaaaats the ticket!
Okay, that great news! Now, find the murderer for Aaron.
At least they survived long enough to see this day, saddest thing what these young men have gone through
This Happens only in the USA where Innocents Serve Time on behalf of Criminals of all classes who walk Free.
The people who are responsible for destroying this mans life should be held accountable. Starting with the cops who arrested him, the prosecuting attorney, the judge and every one who denied his appeal. FIRED!
Omg!!! Could you imagine if this was You!!! He should be given 30 million dollars!!!
Many more in jail who are innocent too
Imagine he had been sentenced to death…
30 years in prison and he wasn't even present at the crime scene. This man's life has been stolen and ruined.
More background of the story please so we can make our own decision.
They are so quick to blame but so reluctant to admit they have made a mistake.
what is the punishment of wrong doing of the justice department?
Is he going to get paid? If not they're wrong
Isn't it fascinating to be a free man after having 29 years of your life destroyed! This is a mayor insult to intelligence! He should sue them for restitution!
