A U.S. service member is in critical condition after sustaining a non-combat injury on Thursday while supporting humanitarian aid to Gaza, according to a U.S. defense official.”On May 23, a U.S. service member sustained a non-combat related injury aboard USNS Benavidez (T-AKR 306) while in support of the humanitarian aid mission to Gaza,” a U.S. defense official said. “The service member was transported to a medical facility and is in critical condition at this time. But on Saturday, only five trucks made it to the warehouse after 11 others were intercepted.”Crowds had stopped the trucks at various points along the way.
