A Turbo Cavalier isn’t something we come across often, especially one of the older body styles! While the Mickey Thompson’s up front are kind of a give away, it still has an unsuspecting sleeper appearance that we LOVE! We ran into this car and its driver at the I-29 Heads Up No Prep Series in Pacific Junction, IA at I-29 Dragway. Fighting for traction in the Front Wheel Drive class, this boosted V6 Chevrolet held its own as it battled others trying to ride the very fine threshold between power and traction! While the driver is typically a bracket racer, we hope to see him back at more no prep’s in the future!
