  1. The guy jailed for crimes as a 13 year old apparently might be released later this year. His name is Ronald Lee Sanford. It seems this documentary was the catalyst for support.

  2. I did 6 years , 3.5 in the SHU solitary . Looking back on it , although it may be sad to say I was the most healthy and happy mentally and physically in prison , there was no bills to pay, no responsibilities, no mortgage to pay. It was the strangest since of peace I’ve ever known . Got out started a business and created a family , but I tell you life as a free man is a lot harder than life as a man behind bars very hard to explain . I’m sure these guys would trade places with me in a heart beat , but they too would come to realize it’s no walk in the park outside those walls .

  3. Robert L. Sanford was 13 years old. He was a child. Nobody fight for him. The crime was terrible, but he was not allone – one older boy was involved. This older boy got a deal when he said against Sanford.
This is a very heavy point.

  4. I really like the program where the inmates can have cats
I think that is an excellent idea and is beneficial in many ways.
The cats get an owner and the inmates get a companion.

  5. Some prisons release 100k people a year that's not bad! Why r people so board and get intrude so much wtf 🫤

  6. Trevor McDonald is an incredible journalist. He always displays professionalism, compassion and empathy for all humanity while telling the truth.🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

  7. Every time I hear this guy story it’s sad it’s safe to say he never had a woman but ion think he gonna say that…"sad bro give that man a special visit once…

  8. I don’t really have much sympathy for these guys even the one who’s been in there since 13,while listing all the things he has missed on,I was thinking ,so did your victims! But these videos can really serve as valuable lessons for those who choose life of crime and show no regard for other people’s lives !
